True to the couple’s vision, the wedding fused modern elegance with boho charm. Warm, personal touches transformed Washington DC’s Meridian House into a scene from an intimate dinner party in the couple’s home. From a ceremony aisle of an eclectic collection of throw rugs to soft, velvety furniture in deep jewel tones for guests to comfortably gather, every detail reflected their love and lives.

With delightful arrangements of wildflowers everywhere, the couple made classic wedding traditions all their own.
Ali exuded her signature sex appeal in a Sarah Steven gown with a high slit that complemented Scott's classic, classy tuxedo. Wally, the couple's Labradoodle and official ring bearer, relished in all the attention and photo ops during the wedding.

Ali also added a modern twist to the traditional Jewish custom of breaking the glass. Both the bride and groom broke a glass of their own, honoring their commitment to each other.
Guests rose to their feet as a New Orleans band filled the space with trombones and funky, low-down music. They swayed, sipped cocktails, and two-stepped on the dance floor, instantly transported to a blues dance club.

The way Ali and Scott handle and hold each other with such love, generosity, and gentleness is a sight and joy to behold.  It was that love that set the tone for an event that celebrated the timeless and the new.
