The death of a baby is like a stone cast into the stillness of a quiet pool; the concentric ripples of despair sweep out in all directions, affecting many, many people.” –by De Frain

Bible and Rosary Beads

As a mom, I cannot help but think of the parents in Newtown, Connecticut.  How can you wrap your brain and your heart around such devastating news about your child?  I just can’t.  I have no words.

Sooner or later, we need to discuss mental illness, school safety and our gun laws.  But today, our words should be in the form of prayers — Prayers for the parents, prayers for the surviving students and prayers for the souls of those precious babies taken entirely too soon.

Friends, hug your family members a little tighter today.  Life is painfully short — a little too short not to give thanks and praise for the blessings you have.  May God Bless us all.

Love and Soul Always, Kay
