Karimah and Robert met during their freshman year at George Mason University and have been inseparable since.

Their enchanted garden ceremony welcomed their guests into a scene right out of a fairytale storybook with a modern touch. With abundant, beautiful florals in full bloom, it was a sight to behold. After the couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife, a jazz saxophonist signaled the guests to follow his melodic sounds from the ceremony to the reception.

Equally as gorgeous, the reception was more than a delicious dinner and dancing—it was a thoughtful showcase of sentiments that have become hallmarks of Karimah and Robert’s love and life together. The full-size display of the couple’s relationship timeline where guests were asked to mark the moment where they met the couple. The caricatures that Karimah and Robert have created and collected every Halloween since college. The cigar lounge and the ancestor memorial, both of which honored the groom’s father, the Honorable Judge Robert Franklin Hagans, Jr., and his incredible impact on their lives.

Every detail was intentional, and the entire vision came together so beautifully.

If Love and Law was a hit show, this striking couple would be the stars.
