• Our Culture

    1. We “take care” of our clients.

We don't believe we work on events – There is no love in that! We take care of our clients’ event planning needs so the details most important to them shine through.
  • Our Culture

    2. We're passionate AND we work hard.

We are passionate about what we do, but we understand it takes more than just passion to make an event spectacular! It takes talent, continued education, brainstorming, a great network and sometimes long, crazy hours of work. – Yes, we work our butts off!
  • Our Culture

    3. We believe you should learn something new every day.

We are a team of educators who constantly strive to keep learning ourselves. We maintain a web site chock full of tutorials, printables and downloads, and we host educational programming we believe our clients and colleagues find beneficial.
  • Our Culture

    4. We're our clients' advocates.

We represent our clients with professionalism and integrity. We practice professional and legal methods for contract negotiation. We reject kickbacks, commissions, and surcharges. If commissions are our client’s preference for payment, we believe in full disclosure.
  • Our Culture

    5. We recognize the desire for privacy.

You will find us actively participating on social media. But, we respect our clients’ privacy and confidentiality. If our clients don’t want us to post anything about them or their event on-line, we don’t. Simple as that.
  • Our Culture

    6. Everyone's opinion matters.

We know there is no growth by always being the smartest person in the room. We encourage our team, vendor partners and clients to bring their ideas, suggestions, criticisms and sense of humor to the table. No matter who you are and no matter what you do, we can all learn from each other.
  • Our Culture

    7. Teamwork is the key to success.

We recognize that great events are achieved not by any single individual, but through the collaborative strength of teamwork. This includes the extended network we have built and nurtured over the years.
  • Our Culture

    8. We believe in family dinners.

We work as efficiently as possible to ensure we are present and available for our clients AND we are present for our family dinners, date nights, PTA meetings, soccer games, recitals and birthday parties.
  • Our Culture

    9. We value diversity.

We welcome team members and clients of all races, religions, hairstyles, body weight, political affiliation and sexual orientation.
  • Our Culture

    10. We believe in using our powers for good.

We reject hurtful behavior and hostile environments. We avoid conflicts of interest and the appearance of such. And, we disclose circumstances or interests we believe may influence our judgment or objectivity.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Hungry for Music

Hungry for Music is a non-profit organization that supports music education and cultural enrichment by acquiring and distributing quality musical instruments to underserved children with willing instructors and a hunger to play.

Hungry for Music‘s most important service is putting musical instruments into hungry hands. They serve children who demonstrate a desire to learn music as well as teachers who have students willing to learn.

The Howerton+Wooten Events team was so moved by what this organization is doing for children with a passion for making music that they have committed all of Howerton+Wooten Events’ 2018 fundraising dollars to this program.
