Virginia_WineryMaryland and Virginia are home to some lovely wineries that offer a unique option for a   wedding or a rehearsal dinner.

So, if you are interested in holding your wedding in an attractive, yet casual setting for your wedding and/or rehearsal dinner, check out some of the options below.

Virginia –

Breaux Vineyards in Purcellville is located a little more than an hour’s drive from downtown Washington, DC.  Indoor and outdoor ceremonies and receptions are available for up to 300 guests.

Ingleside Vineyards is one of the oldest and largest wineries in Virginia. It is part of a 3,000 acre estate which has been owned by the Flemer family for over o­ne hundred years.  Ingleside Vineyards offers indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony and reception options.  Their reception/banquet area can accommodate for up to 140 for a sit down dinner and 200 for a reception.

Hidden Brook Winery in Leesburg provides a rustic option in Virginia.  The winery has indoor wedding ceremony options available.  Their indoor reception/banquet room can accommodate between 48 and 100 guests for a sit down dinner.  The minimum number of guests is 20.

In addition to a beautiful view, the Barboursville Vineyards offers plenty of history and charm.  It has both an indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony options are available.  They offer an outdoor reception option.  If you prefer indoors, their Arcade Room and Museum combine can accommodate between 80 and 150 guests for a sit down dinner and between 120 and 200 for a standing reception.

Old House Vineyards in Culpeper Virginia is an 1800’s farm house that has been
restored to an inviting gathering place.  They only offer an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception option.

 

Maryland –

Linganore Winecellars at Berrywine Plantation is a charming Maryland option.  Indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony and reception options are available.  Their reception/banquet option can accommodate for up to 200 guests.

Boordy Vineyards is Maryland’s oldest family run winery. Established in 1945, Boordy is owned by the R.B. Deford family and is situated on their 230-acre farm in the Baltimore countryside. This winery can offer a bride an indoor wedding ceremony option.  Their indoor reception/banquet area can accommodate for up to 175 for a sit down dinner and 250 for a standing reception.
