Much to my surprise, I have come across a few ladies that still don’t plan to vote today! They don’t want to stand in the long lines. What?!?
I could list all of the issues that the next president will directly affect, but my soapbox has a bit of a dent in it. So, let’s do this –
Stand in line and vote today because Susan thought it was worth it.
Stand in line and vote today because Rosa thought it was worth it.
Stand in line and vote today because Elizabeth thought it was worth it.
Stand in line and vote today because you are worth it.
And so is your future.
So, stand in line — use the time to read a book, answer your blackberry or meet a new friend. Before you know it, you will be at the front of the line.
Vote!
