Long ago, when things were down in the dumps for me, my pop pop (fat daddy’s dad) would make me homemade biscuits, fried apples and some fresh pieces of pork bacon.  Um, um, um.

My troubles wouldn’t dissappear, but I would definitely feel better.

I woke up this morning with the thought that today calls for some sweet, buttery comfort food, so I thought I would share a recipe for a Warm Apple Cobbler that you can find on the Bon Appetit web site.  It uses the sweet, baked apples that so many of us love with a biscuit-like crust.
