While we wait for mother nature to bring us some sunshine, here’s a colorful and vibrant wedding to keep you warm. The colors and design of this Virginia wedding were inspired by a Kate Spade vacation tote owned by a member of our planning team!
Held at the Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Virginia, this wedding was filled with pinks, oranges, greens, and silver colors.
Monica honored her late father in a very special (and personal) way by placing his photo on her wedding bouquet.
The couple’s wedding program (created by LePenn Designs) resembled a magazine. You will see that the programs are just as colorful as the rest of the wedding design!
And, how can you NOT love Monica’s bridesmaid’s response to the couple’s kiss!?! It’s hilarious and so much fun!
Since their wedding day design was filed with so much color, we recommended a tone-on-tone ivory-colored wedding cake with the daintiest of sugar flowers on top. To tie it all together, the wedding cake was placed on a fuchsia cake pedestal.
And, did we mention that Sharrod loves golf! The Lansdowne Resort was a little slice of heaven for this golf lover.
The wedding reception was just as colorful as the ceremony. Guests were treated with pink, green, silver and orange confetti, colorful table design, and the most adorable confetti style escort cards. It made for a fun afternoon “day party!”
