Today, we are showing some wedding day love to Shanekwa and Malcolm.  Shanekwa and Malcolm married at Oxon Hill Manor during the 2011 Memorial Day weekend.

The bride and the bridal party took a moment to say a prayer prior to their the actual wedding ceremony.

Malcolm didn’t need any assistance with his tie.  He knew exactly what to do when it came to looking handsome on his wedding day!

One of my favorite parts of their reception was this table of family wedding pictures.  This couple is truly blessed to be a part of such an incredible family.

Shanekwa and Malcolm jumped a wedding broom.  We found out on the wedding day that this broom had been in Malcolm’s family for many generations.

The centerpieces were created by Janet Flowers, and Shanekwa and Malcolm’s yummy dinner was created by the team at Main Event Caterers.

As a part of their wedding ceremony, Malcolm made a fatherly vow to Shanekwa’s daughter.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
