If your favorite pooch is going to be your ring bearer at your wedding or a special guest at your gala, here are some items you should have in your emergency kit in time of a crisis or (ahem) mishap. Just in case.

• An extra serving of pet food with a disposable feeding bowl
• Extra Water
• The Pet’s Medication
• A Can Opener
• A Dog Toy — But, don’t have the toy out at the event without knowing for sure if the dog will handle it well around people.
• Pet Waste Bag
• Extra Collar and Leash

Am I missing anything? Please let me know. Also, I recommend placing all of the emergency kit items in a waterproof plastic container.
