When guests were welcomed by an eight foot, flower-adorned sign of the couple’s last name, they were instantly immersed in the elegant atmosphere the couple desired. A photography moment made for Instagram selfies, that was only the beginning.

Homages to the bride's Vietnamese heritage and elements that honored her culture were weaved into every aspect of Brittany and Willie’s celebration. For a touch of excitement and playfulness, the couple created a card for their guests with a secret password to order the night's signature drink, which happened to be the Vietnamese word for love. The table numbers and menus were thoughtfully written in Vietnamese, inviting guests to explore the language and appreciate the bride's culture. Later in the evening, Brittany turned all heads in a red Vietnamese dress.

For the reception, as Washington DC area natives, Brittany and Willie knew exactly how to get their party started. They welcomed renowned go-go greats, the TCB Band, to the stage and their guests never returned to their seats. The performance was so iconic, the couple’s reception trended on DC Twitter the following day. Oh, what a night!

For their celebration, Brittany and Willie chose to embrace the enchanting essence of fall, adorning the InterContinental at The Wharf with lush, gorgeous flowers and candles in smoke-colored vessels, creating a scene that exuded an undeniable sensuality.
